Just spent hours calling different rehab centers and every single one claims to have amazing success rates but won't explain how they calculate them. One place said 85% success but turns out they only track for 60 days. Another counts anyone who completes intake as a graduate. It's so frustrating when you're trying to help someone and can't get straight answers. Makes me think the places being vague about their numbers are hiding something. At least some facilities are upfront about long-term recovery being a process, not a percentage

This is exactly why we went with a smaller local facility. They straight up told us "we don't promise percentages, we track progress." The big chains with their flashy 90% success rates felt like used car salesmen. Real recovery takes years, not the 30 days they're measuring. Wish more places were honest about that
