Moving House and Clearing Junk

I'm moving house next month and I've got so much stuff that I don't want to take with me as old furniture, broken appliances, garden waste, you name it. I've been looking at options to get rid of everything in one go, but I'm not sure what's the best approach. Do people normally hire a skip, or is it better to get a company to come and take it all away for you? Also, how do you even find a reliable service and is it just about checking reviews online, or should you look for something specific like licensing or insurance? I'd appreciate any advice from people who've done this recently!

I've found that using a collection service is often much simpler than trying to deal with everything yourself. It saves time, especially when you have bulky items or more waste than expected. While comparing different options, I came across https://affordablewastemanagement.co.uk/, which clearly explains the services they provide. It's always a good idea to check what's included and ask for a quote before booking so you know exactly what to expect.
